Jolyon qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1992, initially working at a practice in Swindon he moved to Stroud in 1996, working at Adelaide House Dental Surgery for Robert Oldham. In 1999 he and Robert founded Rowcroft Dental Centre, a private general dental practice offering a full range of high quality dental care.
In 2016 he became the sole owner and principal dentist of the practice. Jolyon enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has particular interests in Dental Implants and Restorative Dentistry, utilising Cad-Cam technology in the production of highly aesthetic and functional restorations.
Jolyon has been restoring and placing Implants for 20 years.
He has attended many courses and undertaken training both in the UK and across Europe in the fields of Implantology and Bone Augmentation techniques.
This ensures that he is kept up to date, in both knowledge and experience in this rapidly developing field of dentistry. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and has recently become involved in teaching in the subject of Bone Augmentation products and procedures.

James is a General Dentist with an interest in Dental Implants. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003, and started his career in a mixed NHS and private practice. Since 2006 he has worked in private practices in Gloucestershire. James gained further experience in a part-time role as an Honorary Clinical Assistant in the Oral Surgery Department of Bristol Dental Hospital, alongside his work in general practice.
James has attended many specialist courses and lectures across the UK and Europe, given by highly regarded clinicians, to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry.
He has been placing Dental Implants for several years and has gained a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology (passing with Distinction) from Bristol University and uses the highly respected and clinically proven Straumann Dental Implant system. James has been awarded membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI).

Robert studied at Cardiff Dental School, qualifying in 1975. He developed an interest in oral surgery whilst working full time in the Hospital Dental Service. Robert continued to work part-time in the Hospital Dental Service alongside working in a general dental practice in Cheltenham.
Robert became a Specialist in Oral Surgery in 2005. He has served as Chairman of the Local Dental Committee and Chairman of the Oral Health Advisory Group. Robert owned Adelaide Dental Surgery in Stroud before joining with Joylon House to found Rowcroft Dental Centre. He has a particular interest in the dental treatment of older people.

Amanda graduated from Sheffield University in 1987. Initially living and working in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottingham, she moved to the Cotswold in 1997 and joined the team in October 1997. With a strong belief that preventative Dental Care is essential part of dentistry today. Amanda strives to support her patients in achieving good oral and dental health, so keeping their teeth for longer.
Amanda is an active member of Gloucestershire Independent Dentists and attends their regular study days as part of her continuing professional development. These include lectures from renowned international specialists, enabling her to expand her knowledge of the ever changing treatment and techniques within Dentistry.
Outside of work, Amanda has a keen interest in all aspects of wildlife and especially bird watching, which she is able to enjoy whist participating in her other passions of rambling and hill walking.

Greg joined the Rowcroft team in 2016 to provide specialist Oral Surgery services. He is registered with the General Dental Council as a specialist. He provides a full range of oral surgery services including the surgical removal of wisdom teeth and biopsies.
Qualified in Sheffield in 2004 Greg completed the majority of his oral surgery training at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He has worked as a Consultant in Oral Surgery at the renowned King’s College Hospital, London. Greg also teaches at the University of Bristol and has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has been elected to the Council of the British Association of Oral Surgeons and is heavily involved in the organisation of the annual conference.
In his spare time he enjoys cycling around the Cotswolds and tending his allotment.

Lisa is a Dental Hygienist graduating from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2004. She has worked privately at a number of practices within Gloucestershire. Lisa started her career in dentistry in 1996 and joined Rowcroft in 2004. She is confident carrying out all duties within her scope of practice and is also qualified to perform tooth whitening procedures.
Lisa is a highly motivated team member having treated many patients at Rowcroft for more than 10 years. She likes nothing more than a challenge and achieves outstanding results on some of the most difficult cases of periodontal (gum) disease. Lisa is an active member of Gloucestershire Independent Hygienist group and regularly attends post graduate training courses to ensure her knowledge and skills are kept up to date.

Becky graduated from Birmingham University school of dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2009, after achieving a BSc (Hons) in Anatomical Science at Cardiff University in 2005. It was here, at Rowcroft Dental Centre, that Becky began her dental career.
Becky is passionate about dental care and preventative dentistry and provides periodontal care as well as routine restorative work for patients here at Rowcroft. Her professional interests lie especially in the treatment of children and nervous patients and she strives to give patients a good dental experience with her calm, relaxing manner. Her primary aim is to help patients keep their teeth healthier for longer. The majority of Becky’s work focuses on dental hygiene treatments including tailored oral hygiene instructions to improve or maintain oral health.
At Rowcroft, we have a high number of dental implant patients who visit her regularly for maintenance of their prosthesis. Becky’s therapy work enables her to carrying out simple fillings on children and adults and where necessary, the extraction of deciduous teeth or pulp therapies. She is also qualified to carry out tooth whitening procedures, both in-chair (ZOOM!) and with home trays.
As part of her job role, Becky is focused on expanding her knowledge by maintaining her continued professional development. In her spare time, Becky likes to keep fit and has completed various fun runs as well as enjoying experimenting with her culinary skills in the kitchen.

Natalie is a Dental Therapist; within this role she is qualified to perform all Hygiene treatment in addition to carrying out fillings and any treatments on children’s baby teeth. She graduated from University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2015 with Honours, and was awarded the Dame Margaret Seward Award for ‘Dental Hygiene and Therapy Student of the Year’.
Following her graduation, she has carried out further training including Maintenance of Dental Implants and further education in the management of Gum Disease and Tooth Whitening. Natalie is a keen baker and volunteers as a Dementia friend. She is also currently learning British Sign Language on-line.
Kirsty is our Practice Manager, having joined the Rowcroft Dental team over 10 years ago. She qualified as a Dental nurse in 2009 and since then, has undertaken various post graduation courses including, Radiography, Oral health education and more recently Practice Management. She has also had involvement with helping the NEBDN Dental Nurse examinations and has trained as a NEBDN Dental Nurse Examiner.
Kirsty has always been very passionate about dentistry and enjoys managing her friendly team. She maintains her dental registration with the GDC and continues to further her dental knowledge with continual professional development.
