I thought I had better pre-empt a deluge of calls, emails and messages to the practice.

This article appearing on the Mail online this morning, along with other news sites, has come out of the blue for us and probably every other dentist in England.

Although I am now hoping that there might be a light at the end of the tunnel to allow us to get back to looking after our lovely patients, I am sorry to say that..

  •            Currently we have NOT been told to plan for treating patients again in three weeks.
  •            The Chief dental officer Sara Hurley has not updated us with any plans for a phased reopening.
  •            We have been given NO official guidance whatsoever.

Maybe we will be officially told soon, here’s hoping.

Despite this rather disappointing situation, I would like to reassure all of our patients.

Here at Rowcroft we are busy preparing ourselves and the Surgery ready for when we can welcome you back.

Please keep an eye out for updates on our website, Facebook and in your inbox.

Best wishes and Stay Safe
